Meet the Artist
I’m Jade, the artist behind Thalia. I create one-of-a-kind hand-painted clothing full of emotion inspired by love, desire, & heartbreak.
For years I painted on canvas and studied clothing design. Eventually I realized that sewing wasn’t for me and that painting on canvas felt limiting for what I wanted to achieve. I wanted my work to empower people, especially queer people, to express themselves and their identities.
Process
I carefully select each piece of clothing. Each piece is painted freehand. No templates, no prints, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Thoughtfully Sourced
Sustainable fashion is important to me. I like to work with thrifted and upcycled garments whenever possible.
When a piece isn’t thrifted, It’s been carefully selected to inspire the work.
